mapping making meaning frames the process of learning visual art in Jamaica as a deliberately broad, intersubjective phenomenon, not limited to formal curricular or institutional endeavors. The project archives a range of formative visual art meaning making encounters to holistically recognize how visual art is learned, experienced, and valued in a Jamaican context. This site is for Jamaican visual art learning stakeholders —students, teachers, artists, investors and policymakers— to encourage growth of Jamaican visual art learning networks and infrastructures.
